YourStar-Asin

 
After a splendid show in Kollywood, Asin shifted focus to B-Town and starred in 'Ghajini' which is one of the biggest hits in Bollywood. However, she fled from the scene after the debacle of 'London Dreams'.


 
'My name which means 'pure' or 'without blemish', is a confluence of Eastern and Western culture. The word 'A' is from Sanskrit and 'Sin' is Western. It symbolises the modern Indian,' says Asin.


 
Asin on balancing work in Kollywood and Bollywood: 'It's not a strategy or plan that I have made. It depends upon the kind of scripts that are coming my way at that particular point of time. So there's no strategy that I'll do one Hindi and one Tamil movie.'


 
Asin danced non-stop for four hours at the age of four.

 
Asin is a prolific painter.
